Love Island: All Stars – Who Tops the Popularity Charts?

It’s a wrap. After five weeks of drama, Love Island: All Stars came to an end last night, with Casey O’Gorman and Gabby Allen crowned as the ultimate winners. Fan support has played a crucial role in who stayed and who left. With the final over, who was the most popular all along?
Eventual winners Casey O’Gorman and Gabby Allen were not seen as favourites in the buildup to the final, either among bookmakers or the fans. With 24,462 and 13,885 engaged fans respectively, their social media following lagged behind some of their competition. In the end, they won over the viewers and proved anything can happen in the villa, securing the Love Island All Stars crown and £50,000.
Luca Bish and Grace Jackson emerged as the favourites to win with the bookies after 5 weeks and the day before the final. With Luca boasting 1,300,226 followers and 127,589 engaged fans and a 9.1% engagement rate, and Grace drawing in 66,795 engaged fans with an 8.5% engagement rate, they ranked at the top of the social media popularity charts. Despite their strong fan engagement and pre-final momentum, they ultimately fell short of taking the crown, instead finishing as runners-up.
Luca’s inclusion in the competition was initially controversial, following the fallout from his previous appearance in the show where he was criticised for “gaslighting”. It seems he has undergone growth since then, and he and Grace developed a strong connection as the season progressed.
Samie Elishi’s appearance in the villa ended after only 5 days, having been dropped from the villa after Luca decided to stick with Grace. Samie has the 3rd highest number of engaged followers at 58,588, given that her eviction from the villa was not the fans’ decision, her popularity had little influence this time around.
Harriett Blackmore was booted from the villa just before the final along with partner Ronnie Vint. For Harriett, as the 4th most popular, it was a shock. They were removed following a vote from the other dumped contestants, believing they were the least genuine couple.
Danielle Sellers and “Chuggs” Wallace remained at the bottom of the engagement table. Both left the villa before the final. Curtis Pritchard is the lowest ranked in engagement among the stars in the final with just 3,477 engaged fans. He was coupled with Ekin-Su, one of the most popular stars in the villa on 29,690. After being voted out, Ronnie was critical of both of them, saying he believed they were playing a game to stay in the competition.
